If anyone out there is looking for a venue for just about any occasion or in my case a fundraiser in aid of The Steven Walter Foundation I recommend Big Al’s Clubhouse.

We all like to find a place with character and a story behind it and it has it, not to mention memorabilia. Not many places have there own car park, one of the few places you could safely park motorcycles. I had 60 guests at my function with plenty of room to move around and yes a dance floor and fancy lighting, {flash back of disco days} karaoke and flat screens on the wall doesn’t look like a factory unit. All my friends were asking how I found such place, and they loved it .

Every one was catered for thanks to the aircon which kept it just right, you might even have a surprise guest !!! I used Sheppos catering who took care of the food side of things and Tony the chef did a terrific job.

Now all I had to do was get on with the fundraising we raffled gift packs and vouchers, bottles of wine, to name a few. It was a great night and not doing this before I was a bit nervous, how ever with Margo’s and Al’s help and suggestions all was well. The night went better than expected $520 from the raffles and in total the night raised over $1700 all towards a great cause .

Al and Margo couldn’t have done more on the night and I have been there twice .
