Club Presentation night/ Adults Christmas Party

This year our yearly blast was held at yet another new venue, “Big Al’s Clubhouse” in Mt Druitt and without taking the shine from the last few previous venues, I personally think this one has been the best for a while! The place was all ours for the night, and being situated in a factory complex there was no public to bother us, no worries about parking, the cars being right there with us, and apparently no noise restrictions.

Our hosts were Big Al (of course) and his lovely wife Margot, their caterer Tony, who piled us with succulent spit roast meats and salads

The Clubhouse walls have many interesting pieces of motoring memorabilia adorning them and has an incredible laser-light and sound system, including of course the now obligatory Karaoke system which was used to great effect by a number of our favourite extroverts. To warm the night up we were given line-dancing lessons by Elaine, an international linedancing champion, which was heaps of fun, and proved a good grounding for the Macareena, bus-stop, time warp, nutbush and shake your tail feathers. And who’ll ever remember the YMCA in the same way again!

With no expense spared the nights entertainment was compared by Big Al, with appearances by none other than the legendary Elvis Presley, and by special arrangement with ‘Jeff Sinclair Entertainment Co.’ Billy Ray Cyrus and minor appearances by ACDC and Jimmy Barnes! Absolutely the highlight of the night! These guys entertain hard.
