Margot.

‘What a night! I had booked Big Al’s Clubhouse in March 2009 for my birthday party in December 2009 not having been there before. The only time I saw it was mid 2009 when I dropped the deposit in to Margot so I had no idea what to expect when it got to the night of the party. Neither had most of the guests (including my wife, I’m a brave man).

I could not have wished for a better venue for a party. Big Al & Margot are the perfect hosts. They obviously like to have a good time with their guests and their enthusiasm draws you in as soon as you step in through the door. The Clubhouse itself is fantastic with motorcycle memorabilia everywhere, but you don’t have to be a motorcycle enthusiast to enjoy it. Even if you don’t want to dance you can walk around the walls and just look (how anyone collects that many caps is beyond me).

The night went like a blur with the music, the line dancing, the Karaoke and more dancing. This is not to mention the major drawcard, the return of the King, Alvis Presley. He’d given up his shift at the local McDonalds to appear just for us and the Alvis fans among the guests loved it.

If you want the perfect venue for a really relaxed party of if you ever get a chance to go to a party at Big Al’s accept the invitation. You won’t regret it.’
